Finally got the chance to sample some local channel cat fishing today. Water levels in Erie Tributaries are very low and a lot clearer than they normally are. Temps were around 60 degrees as we moved around trying multiple locations. We fished bottom and float rigs with fresh cut bait and managed to catch only 4 channel cats. Two of the fish were 16.25 and 16.50 pounds and fought incredibly hard!!! Great day to be on the water!!!
