Just wondering if anyone has trouble getting there gps to connect some times have to turn it on and off 5 6 times b4 it will work I'll give it 5 mins or so when trying Idk kinda weird any advice thxs

I have the elite 5 as well, I've never had that problem but my unit does occasionally shut off on its own!!

Mine would take a long time last year to get a GPS fix. Over the winter I updated the software and purchased the external GPS antenna. It's been fine this year.

I don't report much been having engine problems , but make sure that u have your fish finder or chart plotter attached directly to the main starting battery,wutj a 15 amp fuze in-between.
