Elbow

Took the family to the TP beach today and Erie looked very flat while sitting there. So I jumped into the boat and headed to the elbow, she got real rough soon after getting there. Only me and a fishing tug out there this afternoon. Marked lots of fish on the bottom 20' of any depth I was in along the elbow. Picked up a good 3lb eye for dinner tonight off the dipsy with a gold back greasy chicken. I didn't spend much time or needed to limit out as we are camping. I'll give tomorrow another go if the forecasted east wind isn't too bad.

@Extra Virgin, I spent most of the day on the beach with the family wondering if that north wind was making any waves out there. Couldn't believe how flat the water at the beach was!

I think my family was near you. We were straight out from the last parking spot on the one way part of ordnance st.

We walked up that way from Jenny wren lane, probably about a km away. Was a nice on the beach NO RAIN TODAY!!

Took another good sized 3lb eater for the campsite tonight from the elbow and a head in need of some preparation H. We should have met up on the beach. Here is a photo of me with my catch and shirt on, the other is me relaxing on the beach tanning.....

Got to be careful out there as I was trolling noted a pile of gulls, so I headed towards them only to find a good sized chunk of marsh broken away floating out there!

Fished the Elbow this morning 7:30 to 10 am . Caught 6 nice walleye and lost a few . All in 40 to 50 ft . 5 colour on willow leaf spoons .

At a quick glance I thought the picture of you tanning, was me! Strange how a t-shirt can really mess with a man's appearance!
