Even with the big storm passing through last night; I promised a young Minnesota guy to take him out for a day of fishing.
Hit the Elbow and had lines in around 7:30am. Fished until 11:00 and marked a lot of fish and bait. I wasn't expecting much but still ended up with 2x decent walleye. One 26" and one around 24" but with a big belly. Marked lots of fish but dipseys / spoons in ~75' of water were the ticket.
This time; darker perch coloured spoons were in order compared to the bright colours of Monday.
Still negotiating with my Mrs. to get out this weekend again but boy; I can't wait!
