Shot a doe first muzzle loader with my Dad and of course Dad shot this nice 8 pointer

Good job, I haven't given up yet either. Buddy and I managed 2 with blackpowder and I still have a tag.
Fingers crossed.

I’ve never shot a coyote.. only ever saw one while hunting and he was in the field about 5-10 min before legal light saw him pouncing catching something then scurried off before legal light.
My friend and I split on the primos alpha dog electronic call. Used it once but nothing come out to it..

I shot more coyotes in the December hunt than I did deer. First for me

That’s just good management. Can’t always shoot bucks and expect things to balanced. Many states have a ‘shoot a doe’ policy to earn a Buck tag.

Got out again late this afternoon, 4 deer came out (4:30) 50 yards to my left and 3 came out 75 yards to my right. I'm hunting a corn field bush edge.
Only fed for a few minutes and became very skiddish and both groups went back in the bush. Wind was in my favour with both groups. One more day left.
