Do you add meat to your baits?

I have been in the habit of adding some northern sirloin (worms) to my body baits for trolling in Erie.
I was just wondering what your habits were. Drag them naked? Add a small piece ? Or hook the whole worm and drag it along?

When I went out we started by dragging them empty but then put worms on a whole one and started catching them I think if they see the lure they may not full commite to biting it but with the worm they do. But try it out next time and see what works better for you good luck.
