Cohos and more cohos. July 23

Went out after dropping family off in mississauga. Late start but found lots of fat cohos in 165-250 fow. Largest was 9.5 lbs. most fish were on 10 colour lead with Michigan stingray 2 face UV and Michigan stingray blue dolphin UV on cheater lines with ball at 52 ft down. Baits were up high today. Water was cold at 42 inside 100 fow down 50. 45-50 out pass 150 fow.

Nothing finer than a mess of Coho's, fabulous table fare.
That said, the middle picture, small fish is a Chinook, just right for the smoker. ;)

Yes. I kept the cohos. The small king was caught on the main line and the second coho in the same picture was on the cheater line on the same rod. That’s a different kind of double header. I did release a couple of shakers but I kept that one because it was already dead. I think I dragged it for some time.

I have a few doubles on the same line. When it's a couple of teenage Kings going in different directions the line sure melts of the spool quickly. :)
