Finally dropped the boat in for the season and it was so nice that we headed out for some fishing. Managed about 90 minutes of fishing and ended up with a 5.5 pound walleye. It hit a clown wally diver on a dipsy set 75 back. Fished 50-55 feet with few marks.

Well done. We were out of Burwell Wed. morning. Fished until 4pm. Long day. We managed 5 eyes and lost one rainbow. 53-56 feet. Got hot out there as the light morning breeze died off around noon. Few marks but definitely not a ton of fish around as yet. Worm harnesses did nothing. All were on spoons of various typical Erie colours. Some on riggers and some on lead core but fish were scattered throughout the water column. Also about 10 silver bass. Things will get better !
