Burwell perch

I've been on the pier in Pt Bruce, last Wed, Thurs, and yesterday. Haven't seen a single yellow caught yet nor have I heard of any being caught yet. Lots of white perch last week tho. It's really early tho so I'm not all that surprised that I haven't caught, seen or heard of any being caught yet. I've had several people come and talk to me telling me they've been to Burwell off the pier with the same story asking me how I've done so far.
What I've been telling people is that it is early still, but if they have a boat, the best place to look right now is probably the inner bay at Long Point and I share the results of the day I got out with @Derkd9 a few weeks ago.
If you have a boat and are set on trying Burwell, you can always try out by the light house at the end of the rocks. There might be some around, but I'm also hearing rumor that the commercial boats have been going almost to the US/CAN border in the middle of the lake to find them, and that's a long way out.
