Finally got the boat to the dock last night in Burwell and headed out for the first time this morning. Lines in the water by 8:40am and all finished up by noon with our two man limit of eyes. Fished just slightly West of port, 41- 45 feet of water, dipsy set on #3 back 80 - 90’ and 4 - 5 colour on the leadcore, speed - 2.7 - 3.0 mph on the fish finder. Pink panties, a gold wonderbread, nascar and a green/gold lure were what worked for us today. Heard a lot of radio chatter of people fishing out deeper catching a lot of bows, but none for us. Lost a couple eyes at the boat and had to weed through a few smaller eyes but ended up being a great first trip on the water!
