With the winds blowing a little decided to take the boat out and test the new covers around the Center Console I had made. They worked awesome. But the boat didn’t want to turn around and it took me out to the Bluffs for a little action.
The water conditions across the bar were 3-4’ rollers and it kept me dry and out of the wind
Started way up inside the bar and made 1 run out to the tip. I think I caught one of your fish @spilliard1 that you have been seeking. A 5.57lb bucket mouth.
Also landed a nice 32” pike at 6.9lbs but had to keep it due to Hook carnage
Water temp out there was 69.7 degrees.
The pike season has begun and it’s finally time to change tackle over from all the Walleye fishing done this year.
