That looks like a 12 ft. aluminum in the Nov. cold water... wow that's a disaster waiting to happen.
Still very unfortunate for the families involved, my condolences for your loss.

We had a teenager fall out of a canoe and drown here in London a few weeks back in a pond slightly bigger than a bathtub. Once you hit that cold water you don't have time to think. Very sad.
