An Interesting Shooting Sport

I don't come over to this end of Stomp's world very often but thought I'd stop by and post some vids of a shooting sport one of my fishing buddies (Shaky Brucester) is involved with since it was kind of new to me and not many people I have talked to had heard of it. It's called Cowboy Action Shooting and basically, grown men & women dress up as cowboys, adopt cowboy name, and have a little shooting competition at various gun clubs around the world. It is a timed competition where the cowboys enter a 'scene' and shoot a series of targets in a specific sequence using 2 single action revolvers (5 shots from each), a pump or lever action rifle (10 rounds), and a pump or double barrel shotgun (4 rounds). Any misses, out of sequence shots, or failing to follow the instructions for each different scene result in time penalties. This was a fairly small event in Thorold on the weekend but some of the gunslingers are pretty impressive with 20 second rounds for 24 shots from 4 guns.
