Adblock message?

It's just since Monday that the ad blocker pop up showed up on OUR work computers which we are allowed to use at breaks and lunch , maybe new software was added at work ?? Who knows

I am allowed to use my work laptop too for personal stuff , as it travels to and from the office with me daily, and on travel when required. If there are certain sites or sight content that we are not allowed to view( ie porn being the obvious example ) those sites will be blocked for content purposes. But Adblockind is something new to me. It must be similar to when at the infant stages of the Internet , some sites required you to allow cookies before you were allowed to enter . What ever the hell a cookie is, I still don't know, not the point here..... This, to my knowledge is the only sight I am having Adblocking trouble with, which is too bad cause I a love stopping into it several times a day to see what is happening. This mobile devise is also company owned, and for now I can still get in this site with it? Not sure what to say or to do. That's all for me. Enjoy!

Everyone just turn the dam ad blocker off when visiting this site and others that you enjoy using.
Doesn't cost you anything, and can even save you money.
I've said it before there is constantly ads when I visit for $10 off next mod at American Muscle!
Saweeeet!

I seem to be getting that Ab Block message even after disabling AdBlocker for this site. In fact I can see an ad in the background of the message asking me to disable my adblocker for this site, but I can't dismiss the message, browse any threads, or use the site at all. I had to load up the site using (eww) IE just to post this message. I normally use Chrome.

Any suggestions or is this a broken setting in the site's software? I'm not going to uninstall AdBlocker every time I want to use the site, and having to load it up in another browser seems silly. As I said, I already disabled it for this site and I can even see ads going by in the background behind that message requesting that I disable AdBlocker for this site, which I've done.

Bill try googling how to pause your adblocker. If you are on a Mac and the adblock icon is right next to the search bar just click it and a drop down menu allows pausing.

I had the same issue, when I terminated Chrome, and restarted the issue seems to have gone away. Perhaps adblock has a TSR, (terminate and stay resident) component that is detected.

Funny little aside... I am browsing on my work laptop. (Personal time and I'm allowed to do this.) All I see are ads for the company I work for. LOL Apparently my company is paying a fee so this site can remain free for all of us to browse. You're welcome Stomp. :)

Thx! @tinboater . Is your company in the Russian bride business?
