Fishing Report A non-walleye report 😁

I fished Saturday and Sunday morning for largemouth. I didn't get a lot of numbers on Saturday but a few nice ones including a 4.7 pounder. It was a long fish, not as fat as the bass I've been catching lately. Would love to see this bass in the fall when it's on the feed.

Sunday was tough. Landed 11 pike, 0 bass.... I only a had a few hours to fish so I stuck to high percentage spots.

I've been fishing out deeper. I've lost conference in the thickly weeded shallows on the south side. Was trying to get a frog bite going in there last week but alas, I'm a pike magnet.

Best fish next to a smallmouth to catch in my book. I only say smallmouth is number 1 because I can fish light line.

And a 3 pound smallie fights like a whale.

Most sporting fish are smallies and bows by a long shot.
