looking to flip for Large Mouth Bass tomorrow, can someone post hunting areas so I don't go there....

Hoping to get some feedback on a tournament run by Strait Line Anglers Club Is it run well and organized? First time fishing there tournament, hope its a good one because they have a great line up of tournaments.

k, Not to get you more confused as I agree with many of the suggestions on the board. I will say that if this is your first bait caster, and you want a good combo for all around fishing, consider Lews. I know these are tough to buy in stores but Angling Sports in London and Brad Arnold at 5/0...

We fished from Port Rowan all the way along the shore to Sandboy, along with a few other spots, No Pike, water was VERY muddy and still cold. 45 degrees.....it should clean up and heat up by this weekend.

How beat up is the bay after yesterday? I am coming from London and its a haul, don't want to come if the bay is chocolate color

Dude...lol People are reluctant to share spots on an open forum like this and rightfully so. If you are new to the Longpoint bay area PM me, I will be happy to help with some areas and techniques. Ken Practice C &R....keep the fishery alive and well for years to come.

I fished LP a lot but never fished the marsh land west of turkey point.....is this area offside (protected) and is it even worth fishing.

other than cost what is the advantage of using braid and then a fluorocarbon leader....adding more knots just runs the risk of more knots breaking?
