Try a three way swivel with a larger spoon on a 4 foot leader and a much smaller spoon on a 2 1/2 foot leader - it looks like a bigger fish chasing a minnow and seems to really work for the bows... Bassy

To add to Chromeseeker's comment, make your connecting knot a Bimini twist - think of tieing an improved clinch knot to another ick. This connection is easiest in terms of line off and on the reel, and it's strong. Best, Bassy

Hey all: I agree with the point about Erieau - after July 1. From a tactic perspective you want to run a 3-way swivel with a longer lead of mono and a bigger spoon, and a shorter lead of mono with a small, small spoon - it's a bit of a "match the hatch" game in terms of the forage base... Hope...
