Zone 19 Walleye Season?

I fish walleye on the northern shore of Lake erie from Leamington to Port Burwell typically. Fishful thinking but Im looking up the regulations and for zone 19 the mnr site says the season is open all year. Is this correct? The whole northern half of lake erie appears to be zone 19.

Yes that’s correct.

Open all year because there won't be many hungry eyes in the lake during the off season. It's not illegal just not productive.

Just like bass being open all season up in northern Ontario. Yes you can fish for bass all year north of Wawa. You're not going to catch many though...
