Last year I heard about this new way (though has a been available for years but was considered old-fashioned compared to using Websites) of getting a Buoy Report. It wasn't until the 1st of this week that I gave it a try. (Text#) 7057108011 (Text Msg. Port Stanley Buoy#) 45132 a quick reply was: June 3, 2019 7:00am EST Wind 17.5knts @ NNW (330) Gust: 19.4knts Air Temp: 46.8F Water Temp 52.2F Waves: 1.6ft Per: 3s At 8am this morning the Water Temp was up to 58.1F an increase of 6Deg Water Temp in 5 days and at 11am it was up to 59.4F. You can only text the Buoys identified by a number.
