That would be a record in anyone's personal bass fishing book however not close to the official world record of 22 lbs. 4 oz. that held for almost 8 decades since 1932 until one caught in Japan tied the record in 2009. The 25.01 pounder in the photo would have broken that record but had to be released as it was foul hooked. A lot of potential big cash went out the window that day I'm sure.
