Pt Stanley Wednesday

First post after reading for a long time
Was out of port Stanley yesterday at 730am. Started from 35fow out to 52. Marking lots and either bait balls or perch. Waves got bigger the further out so trolled back in towards the pumping station. Avoided lots of nets in the process. Tried everything in the tackle box. No hits, no fish. Thinking now maybe we didn’t get out far enough. Running dipsy and lead core.

Welcome aboard @600mojo. I wouldnt be to discouraged yet by the sounds of it it was a tougher day on the water today.

Welcome to the forum @600mojo. There's lots of fish at Stanley but you need to get to 65 fow because they are deeper now than a week ago. Can understand not wanting to troll deeper with bigger waves but there will be better days.
