I tried making peppered yes for the first time last year. There were edible but not the best I have ever had. I am wondering if anyone has a recipe they are willing to share as I plan on making some more next week.
I found a couple recipes on line. One thing I did different this time is smoke them for less time but more direct heat ( I built a smoker out of a steel drum and a washing machine) this higher heat less time seemed to work a lot better. Still some smoke flavor but I could taste the spices and meat.
