Not sure how to keep my old thread active with updates.
I would like to just add to it and have it show up.

We started the day at 5.00 am from St Williams offshore wind just starting to build had a nice fishable drift around EC3 and EC4. Ran multiple drift patterns with no luck.
We decided to run across over to Big Rice. Lined up with the cottages and ran some long drifts. Fast drifts due to wind strength. I was skunked my fishing buddy picked up 3 over 3 pound smallies then the bite stopped. Moved around to some of the other normally productive areas at this time of year with no action. Then we moved over to bait island for the balance on the day. We fished the Turkey Point side on Bail Island.27 boated SM 1 LG most fish in the 2 lb class. 4 double headers with some nice top water fish dancing. Lots of fish mainly a light bite and few more aggressive feeders.Typical Long point varying wind day meant is was hard to run the same drift more than twice.Fishing light gear 4 and 6 lb test running slip sinker with leeches. Kept 2 smaller fish deep hooked for the frying pan to-day.
