My old friend was in town for work so we hit up Dalhousie for some salmon action...
We had a short morning window before the weather showed up...
2 kings, 5 cohos and 2 lakers made it to the net with a few missed/dropped...

They don't go as golden brown with lard as they do with oil... Just a dusting of flour and pepper... No lack of taste though... 🤤 Matched with a rainbow salad with coleslaw dressing... Just crumbs left... lol
For the most part I will let the pictures do the talking... Our poor BBQ was on its last legs... We burn a BBQ every 4 years no matter the quality or price... We bought a PIT BOSS 4in1 and after 3/4 of a day putting it together realised there was missing irreplaceable parts... Wasted another...
We have played around with different sauces and crusts... We like the PC frozen dough and Rodolfi sauce the best so far... I do the prep work and the warden makes the pie... Jalapeno cheddar pepperoni gives it a mild zip... Made in the oven on pizza trays...
I've been going thru a sweet black cherry phase...
So the warden made me a cheesecake from scratch... The canoli's are for her employee's... Although i did sneak one... lol
