Onaman River 2024..2nd morning all done. Great eating for the winter. Rest of the week shooting road chickens and fishing. Awesome weather and a great week away.

Lake Nipigon, Onaman River to be exact. Moose hunt, but the walleye right at the camp are usually thick..and the road chickens aka partridge...are just as thick. I spend more time with those 2 than the moose. Ill post results in a couple weeks!!

Pepperette day yesterday! 10lbs venison to 5 lbs pork shoulder. Grind, spices, pink cure, into the stuffer then into the smoker for 5 hrs. Overnight in the fridge, ready to cut and bag this am. They don't last long!!

Alas, I have too many body baits..couple hundred at least. Theyre in the plastic Plano boxes, and I carry them in a huge Cabelas duffel that is made to store the boxes, but its way over its limit..I need at least one more duffel. On the water there's Plano box chaos, you're tripping over lures...
