The surge brakes work very well RH but have not chalked up at lot of miles on them yet. I failed to mention that they are disc brakes as well. To prevent brakes applying, there is a diode that is activated when vehicle's reverse lights are activated {thus the flat 5 pin connection}. Good point...

I bought a new Load Rite in 2023. Has surge brakes, LED lights and capture bunk for my 19 foot. Had to pick it up in Bracebridge though. You will need a 7 pin to 5 pin adapter if you get surge brakes. Bunks, capture bunk and winch tower, as well as axle all are adjustable. Pricey is right!

That is disgusting! Isn't that a rule/law to be on the lookout for boats in distress? I believe it was on the boater's exam.

Chances are, if I put out a distress call, I'm hoping someone within range gets there long before the Coast Guard can. So the more range you have, the more boats should hear you and you're not counting on everyone else to have the stronger radio.

I got one for Christmas 2 years ago. Same thing, it was comical some of the identifications. Some bird habitats were thousands of miles away. Filled it up with seeds and two days later, squirrels had it emptied. got some nice squirrel shots though.

I'm sure the fittings are solid. What happen to me was, I couldn't aim the nozzle even close to the target with the pressure from the hose.

LOL. I had an extension wand for my garden hose to do the eaves troughs. As soon as I opened her up, water went everywhere except toward the eaves trough. I'd love to see you fire that baby up for the first time.
