Where have all these ducks been? Saw more birds in inner bay Friday than all season. They been staying in outer bay/lake? Any thoughts?

Haven't been down in a week. How much of bay is frozen? Still some divers around? Hoping to get out this weekend since its supposed to warm up a bit.

Anyone having any success diver hunting around perimeter of unit or elsewhere?

Hunting in Waterfowl Management unit is on Mon, Wed, Fri and Sat. Rest of Inner Bay it can occur within 300 metres of shore/edge of weeds 7 days a week. Outer Bay hunting can occur any day and where ever guys are brave enough to go. Others can correct me if I'm wrong on any of these points.

Weird evening. Went down to do some work at cottage and scout a bit. Heavy west wind yet saw no divers in inner bay and saw nothing come in at dusk. Where'd they all go. Bluff Bar?

Wont be able to make it to AGM but wanted to discuss woody boxes and hen houses. I put up nine new woody boxes and a tube type hen house with a couple of my hunting buddies a few weeks ago near Aylmer. Has LPWA considered installing nesting structures in the unit or other places like irrigation...

How frozen is the bay? Thought maybe these stiff winds might keep it somewhat open. Are there still divers hanging around? Warmer on Saturday and then mid week, maybe still get out couple more times.
