What a Wind!

I took a drive down Hastings tonight just before dark. The Weather Network is calling for waves up to 5 meters from the SW. They are washing over parts of the road and flooding a large section.

I will check it in the morning and report.

Blowing in NW off of Huron up here in London now Dave and the lake effect snow is coming with it. Hope we don't get another dump like last year.

Looks like everythimng survived. Places where waves broke over and rocks scattered all over road but no major damage. Come on spring!

That's good news Dave. That wind was wild yesterday. Pretty crazy winter we have had so far.

C'mon, bring on a little cold so I can take my boy ice fishing and he can stop asking to go!!!

Hey Dave

Did mother nature create a new boat launch for us .

I remember back in the late 70's or was it the early 80's when the storm took out Hastings. Friends of the family were living there and they survived that storm.

She sure did a job down there Jim but no boatlaunch. There are more "no trespaaing and private property" signs there than ever before. They think they can build there again but storms like that kind of prove that wrong.
