Fishing Report We did it again - Lake O Smackdown April 7

Not an easy, but an amazing day on water. 12/19, 1 king ~15lb, 11 lakers. Spoons and flasher+fly on riggers and 100/150/200 WS over 20-40 fow.

Port D to the BAR.

Also caught a full rod + reel by Islander. Needs cleaning/TLC but usable.

Was also out yesterday from 7:30 to 1:30 with very similar results. Only second time getting into fish while on lake OH but man it???s a good switch up from Lake Erie summer trolling

Gotta be a mooching reel. My float islander reel looks exactly like it, but has a clicker switch at the back. Good catch, Big $$

Call Islander and try to get the contact info for the dude that lost the rod and reel! That would be epic! I have 2 of them and it has a lifetime warranty. Absolutely awesome mooching rods and I???m sure some guy was heartbroken after chucking 500 bucks overboard!

They came back to me without any registration. I posted this on the Lake Ontario Fishing Reports. Nobody answers - gonna sell it.

We lost one on the bar this may 1st weekend last year out of a rigger holder! Only comobs we use other than lead setups. Bet that's it. Almost went swimming but it was 58 degrees!

Thanks @darton . We did ok. More experienced folks did better and already have the 1s derby fish. Looks like the season is there already!
