Tundra Swans Have Arrived

Hello Guys,

I saw 22 Tundra Swans fly over yesterday afternoon after I returned from a short kayak tour of the bay. I also saw a Bald Eagle spook a fairly large raft of ducks at the head of the bay.

Hello Jello,

They are most certainly early this year ... the earliest that I have seen them.

However one individual told me late Friday afternoon that he saw several Tundra Swans fly over his blind within the unit last Saturday and that he could have easily bagged one if he had a tag for one.

Another individual also told me late Friday afternoon that be had seen a rather large flock of Tundra Swans (200 to 300) fly over Port Rowan that day.

We heard and saw Tundras in the west end of the Unit while hunting Wednesday morning. Two seperate flocks of about 20 birds.
