Trapping Minnows

We spent some time this past weekend to find some other locations to put our traps in hopes of finding smaller perch friendly sized minnows. It seems that we are only attracting the pike sized bait in this creek so far. Can't say I've ever lipped a common shiner before today! I let that tank go to make some smaller ones another day (y)

If anyone is in the market for emerald shiners, looks like Lake Erie bait and tackle have some right now...
