We went back to the chooch again saturday we got home from workimg in toronto (live in niagara) friday finished off the canoe tow behi d and packed and left at 12:30 drove there and set up by about 3am in 12' same spot we were 2 weeks ago bite was really slow and we were too tired to pack and move so we punched some holes arou d the tent but only 2 rock bass and 2 catfish giys we talked to all said the same thing the fish are there but not biting iaing small and medium minnows i forgot my maggots again so we packed and left around 12ish couldnt tell if they were deeper or in the shallows tonns of hits closer in most people that were by us moved in shallower and only a few way out there i would geuss they were looking for something other than perch but i dont really know going back out next weekend maybe try shallower and move deeper later but ill tell you one thing were not going right after work me and dad were done all day construction then home from the danny just to drive all the back to orilla on little to no sleep in the hut that was a killer im hoping to upgrade to the otter vortex pro resort thermal hut in the next week or two days like that would be nice to bring a cot out and catch a few zzz's in shifts but we alao found out that your not allowed to park truck and trailer in tudhope park even tho we were right beside the snow pile and it was oit further then us we still got a 35 dollar ticket for blocking a lane way witch was bs we were tight in the corrner against a pile of snow sticking 4 ft past the front end the guys that parked right in the middle lane with the tarailer sticking out in the laneway i can see but every truck and trailer got a ticket no matter were they were so might have to stick to gilford and park at cooks marine 10 bucks is better then 35 eh good day no matter what jist wished we caught 40 bucks worth of fish but you cant complaine about bei g on the hard water
