Anyone have any tricks for getting pointless stickers off a new aluminum boat?
I have a nice new 68 sticker I’d love to get on the boat just need to Safely remove a couple pointless stickers to make room!
We always used WD40 to take the trail pass stickers off snowmobile windshields without scratching. Spray on top edge of sticker and let it wick down, then slowly peel and spray so it dissolves the glue as you pull.
Heating with a hairdryer will also usually soften the glue to allow it to peel off. Clean off glue residue with Varsol then clean area thoroughly with a cloth and alcohol before attaching the 68 decal.
