Been a while since I saw a LSC muskie report on here so thought I'd throw up a quick one. Got a late start Saturday after having head back for the forgotten electronics and then blowing a trailer tire on the qew on the way to get them. Saturday afternoon was for sure the hottest day I’ve ever spent on the boat. That’s my excuse for only getting 2 skis. Biggest just under 40. Lost 3 on Sat. Sunday was better. Little more breeze made it bearable. Landed 4 more skis, biggest at 41. Didn’t lose any Sunday. Surface temps were 78 on Sat and 76 Sun. Found most fish in 14 fow. Magic speed for us seemed to be 3.8. Hottest bait is shown. This is 5" Toothache made by Johnston Lures. Look him up online, he makes beautiful baits that have worked well on our only 2 trips to LSC. Will be back in the fall. Here’s a few pics.
