Arrived at 58 feet of water by 7:30 a.m.Marked the odd Fish here & there, but did not catch my first Walleye(4 lb.7oz.),till 9 a.m.off the Downrigger with cannonball down 39 feet,& using a Ripplin Redfin(Blue/Silver),with a 100 foot lead.I was in 60 fow, when the Walleye Hit.More Boats that I saw were fishing further out, likely in 62 plus fow.The southwest wind was steady at 10 knots & building by 11 a.m.,(it was suppose to lighten up by afternoon). My whole day for Fishing that I had planned, turned into a Short Day.So because of the way Lake Erie can turn quite Rough Quickly[:(!],I decided to head back into shore, other Boats were also heading in.I fished Solo today, and took some pictures, which I will post later.8D
