Recent bear hunt

Took a spring bear hunt up to our camp in wmu 47. Success was had by myself and another members son. Great hunt good eats and a couple yearling bears. Meat in the freezer. And a moose with twins visited. Can't beat that.

Congratulations on a successful hunt ! How was the bugs ? I use to do the Spring Bear up around Espanola many years ago. Thanks for sharing !

Those are some good looking bears. Congrats. I have been thinking about doing a spring bear hunt one of these years. Bugs would probably chase me out of the bush!

No black flies but the mosquitoes could carry you away.
