Perch fishing

I'm new to fishing long point area. Is there any decent perch fishing happening this time of year around Long Point bay? Would like to go out this weekend
 
I was told by one of theling point marinas today that they have to close by tomorrow midnite??
 
They announced today marinas have to close tomorrow night unless it is used to get where people live and they will be restricted?
