Fired up the kamado joe today. Got her up to 850°f and then the fun began. Tossed in some apple wood for a touch of smoke. Usual suspects, pepperoni extra cheese. Just plain cheese for the girl, pizza that is!. Wife and I decided to recreate a pizza from one of favorite spots that went under during covid. Donattela Bar & Grill in Bobcaygeon, anyone try it?. It's a salmon pizza with capers fresh dill, mozzarella, onions, and other seasonings over a cream cheese/mayo based white sauce. Oh man was it ever good. They may have had the advantage with the wood fired oven but we came close. Only a few oz's of salmon went far.
