Went out to EC10 this morning with high hopes of getting dinner. Very light wind made for a comfortable trip.
No minnows at Wells so bought up their dead salted ones.
The bite was very light, say almost non existent. The wife managed 2 average perch and her prize of the day. The photo below shows her with her prized pike. It isnt a whale but she was very happy.
I was blown away that she landed it on an ultra light IM6 rod with only 4lbs test
