Long Point park ramp

Does anyone know if the park ramp is open this weekend. I know the park is closed until July 15th but voice message says day use is open. Is ramp part of the day use. Tried to call but nobody is picking up the phone.

Thanks

If the park is closed, I would guess that means ramp is too. VERY high water, bring your tall boots regardless of where you launch. The roads are wet, soggy, muddy, too.

I just got to my cottage on lp and the water is the highest I’ve ever seen it since 92. And the Highest I’ve seen this year alone I doubt the park will open as predicted.

Just to give an idea. The boathouse I rent at Old Cut has 6 to 8 inches of water on the dock inside it.

A photo at Sandboy Marina from today around 6 p.m.Bring boots & the boat ramp she said is fine to use!! The water was even higher than that in the photo!! You can see by the wet ground that the water level is dropping down!! Tight lines & Bass ON to All!! ??o_O?:)

Apparently @bassaholic according to the lady at sandboy marina, this is the highest level ever on long point bay.She showed me a line on the wall where the water level had risen to and it was up 6 inches inside the area were you buy bait, etc. But who knows! We might have to dig into the archives to really find out,I suppose on how high the water level did rise in the past on long point bay.

Got a reply from the park. Ramp is open but parking lot is full of water. Sounds like you need a boat to launch your boat Thanks to everyone who replied
Boots are definitely a must!! There is a lot of water here, but the boat ramp in the park is usable.Be safe and watch your step when you are walking in the water!!

How can they call that open??? I get it, water is high everywhere!!! You better have a mud motor on a skiff if you hope to get out of that channel. Come on you could have at least ran a cookie cutter up that channel if you expect it to see any use.
