Lake st clair

Need info where to launch. Also is it too early for muskie fishing. Thinking of going this weekend to give it a try.

Be there early and follow the charter boats out to the general area. Likely too early in the season to fish the river mouth.

Generally from start of September onwards you can get em at the mouth and only gets better as the days go. Mouth is generally more productive casting. Follow charters is good as well and/or troll weed beds. Best of luck!

Does anyone know if the municipal dock right at the mouth is good to go? Last fall it was still being worked on and delayed due to water levels. Also does anyone know if there is a dock at jeanettes Creek launch or is it still worth bringing waders?

We were on st clair Monday out of lighthouse cove.
It's still pretty early for muskie in the river. I'm sure there are some fish, but its early....
We marked some bait in the river, and did not see any fish caught.
Lighthouse cove launch is up and running. There is only parking for vehicles on the pier now, no longer along the road. So be early if you're planning to use that launch.
We were out it in the lake most of the day.
Did not have any luck. As stated in the other post, it was quite slow.
Marked a lot of bait and fish off stoney point, about 16 ft of water.
Saw 2 charters and 3 other boats fishing similar water. Didn't see or hear of any other

Parking lot next to the launch blocked off?
