Wife was getting sick of the same old menu, so I made her something I'd never made for her before. She seemed to like it.
Something like a goulash, but of course I just told her it was slop on a plate.
Elbow macaroni, hamburger, red & green peppers, red onion, celery, regular boring spaghetti sauce.
Seasoned the burger with mesquite rub, hickory flavored liquid smoke, paprika, oregano, garlic powder, salt and a little bit of cayenne pepper for a kick. Mixed the meat and noodles together, threw it in my lasagna pan covered it with parmesan and texmex shredded cheese mix.
The other dish was for me last night and is pretty self explanatory. Fish and chips (took a pack of walleye out and did it up in the frying pan with panko)
