June 29 burwell

Wife and I hit the water at 630, called it a day at 1030. Started in 42' and marked a bunch of fish. 3 massive hits but none in the boat. Trolled out to 55 and back to 42. Finished with 3 eyes and 1 farm animal. Eyes were all just under 3 lbs. Ran 2 leadcore and 2 flat lines. Flat line with blue/silver Wally demon did the damage. Good meal or 2 out of the days catch, then try again tomorrow.

We followed a similar pattern and managed two, best one was 6 lbs.
Bugs kept us busy, need to clean the boat now.

Was out today at Burwell fished from 8 till 11. Fished in tight today 35 ft of water. Lots of hooks. Landed 9. Most 2 or 3 pounds. One bigger one about 7 or 8 pounds.
