Fishing Report June 11. Port burwell.

Ran strait to 60fow and let the good times roll.
Reef runners on braid 110ft off the planner lines worked well.. Many eyes big & small and the lone trout20240611_153018.webp20240611_182258.webp.
3&4 color worked well,spoons better then cranks.
Dipsys..dipsy took some work but eventually found there place at 90-100ft on 0.5 & 1.5 set pulling Various spoons and thunder sticks20240611_204248.webp.
Well over 40 shots on the evening.
Ran some worm harness as well.. they did much better on core then then they did on dipsys.

+/- 2.5mph.
60-63fow.

I saw the sparks from the knives from here... SMACKDOWN... 🙂
 
I thought about going to 60 feet right away but I stayed on the "hump" that is out there.. many of the other boats were moving from the 60+ range back to the 50 range, especially when the bite slowed. Some good bait schools but we didn't pick up very many fish when passing over them..

I never did like fishing over them bait balls when there all packed together nice & tight like in the picture..there to relaxed like the they don't have a care in the world..nothing is spooking them.
I like to see them clouds of bait broken up and scatterd about from feeding fish busting them up.

If I may suggest, check your graph to see if has "lake master" maps built in. My previous graph which was a Humminbird helix 7 came with navionics chip but also had the Lake master maps built in. I found The lake master maps to more reveling & detailed showing all the little humps and drops in finer detail then the Navionics maps ever did.

I'm pretty sure I seen that face that is reflecting off the graph.. maybe i do know which one was you. Lol.
