What a beautiful day on the water today! Picked up leeches at R&R, then launched at Old Cut, quick boat ride to south of Bait Island by 7:30 and lines in. Caught a meager 2lb. Smallie right off the hop followed by 1 pike. Picked up and moved several times in the ec5 & ec6 area trying to locate weed beds but only 4 Rockies to be found. Trolled in front of millionaires for a bit....nada. Moved to some trusty weed beds around ec10, 4 or 5 more rockies and 2 very nice pike! All in all a good day out with my nephew, sorry no pics.....always afraid I'll dunk the phone lol
