Greater White-fronted Geese in Southern Ontario

A few minutes ago I saw around 50 White-fronted Geese landing in a pond near my home in the Brantford area. I have hunted them in Saskatchewan and North Dakota, but this is a first for me to see them here.

Seeing lots of Swans around us now fields with 2-400 birds in them.

In the same area I also saw some small flocks of cacklers.

Very cool, I have never seen white fronts in SW Ontario but I have seen snow geese a few times and usually in the spring not the fall. I wonder if their return trip takes a bit different route than the fall migration?
