One of my gas tanks for my outboard motor wont keep a prime. Is there any way to fix this? I am assuming that there is a one way valve to keep gas from draining back into tank. Has anyone had any luck fixing one of theese?

If I were to guess what your problem is, it would be from the connection on the tank and the hose as long as there isn't a hole in your hose,(that is if you use more than one tank and it doesn't happen on the other tank)

you prob have a crack in the pick up hose inside the tank. you should be able to take it apart and replace the hose.

ok thanks ill see if i can get inside the tank somehow today. yeah second tank works fine but with this one it loses its prime
