Flocking decoy heads

My decoys are starting to get a little rough! Thinking of among other things, flocking the heads on my goose and mallard heads, currently the are not flocked. Anyone have any experience with this, particularly around durability? Also likely going to repaint my field goose decoys, same kind of question anyone done this and how durable was the repaint. Thanks in advance for any comments!

I’ve found flocked heads do need more care than paint but look way better in the spread
I flocked a bunch of goose heads and bought a kit from lee valley from the crafting section
Can’t remember what they called it but came with glue the flocking and a applicator
Plastic paint will last quite a while too

I've done goose decoys. Black mat tremclad paint. While the paint is wet, coat it with flocking thick. Shake off excess. It was kind of a huge pain in the arse. I found it made more of a difference on my silhouettes as it made them more visible.
