Best would he to go down a look yourself. It was getting sketchy is some spots late yesterday. I am sure the ice ice is still good but lots of water and slush now making travel more interesting. What some of us might consider safe others would not. Personally if I was off I'd be out today

Yea I'll call Jimmy rigging before I head out, it takes longer that 24 hrs to melt 11" of ice. Couple years ago I was on lake Simcoe similar weather with 2-3 inches of water on top. Thanks @ jerk bait

I am not working,(retired),and if I was going ice fishing today,(I will be going later through this week),I would definitely be wearing my cleats and a pair of good rubber boots, and also bringing a spud bar along.Been there and done that a few times over the years when going ice fishing when the ice conditions are 12384this way.Be safe everyone & tight lines to all!! 👍

@red Hering… Good for you Erich safety first with survival suit, ice picks and a whistle all smart. (y)
Only suggestion is maybe change out the Steeler toque for a Patriot one. LOL!! :p:D
Change out my Steeler toque for a Patriot toque!! NEVER!! @Wave Runner!!;)lol A little story for you @Wave Runner I gave a homeless man a Patriot toque once that was given to me,and he threw it back to me,and said that he wanted my Steelers toque that I was wearing!! lol- just kidding & not true, but the Steelers & the Steel Curtain will prevail next year!! Look out Patriots & GO STEELERS GO!! :p:D👍
