I went fishing yesterday, oct. 23/11.I was fishing for perch at ec10 with the first one being a jumbo(13") caught by my wife.Boy was I excited for that. She caught it around 9:30 a.m.The fish finder was lighting up all morning, but they just didn't want to bite.We caught 3 more real jumbo's and 6 small ones, then decided to move to ec 6 around 12:00p.m..We sat at ec 6 for 45 min then this guy comes trolling along and lands a 44" muskie just in front of the ec 6 marker(red). He and his buddy call a friend who is fishing lake St. Clair and tells him of the good news. The guys did take a picture of it and I HOPE they will post a picture to show everybody. My boat will be behind, in the pic.It was the biggest fish I have ever seen come out of the bay to date for me.It was the high lite of my day and the wife's also.I did go back to St. Williams and fish for another hour and only got 8 more keeper perch so we had a dozen for a fish fry when we got back home.I'm still using pickeral rigs with live minnows was the trick for the day.Salty's wuld not work at all yesterday. Tight lines everyone!!!
